PDCAAS - Invitro (Protein Quality) Test

This is a benchtop version of the in-vivo (rat) PDCAAS test. Our in-vitro PDCAAS test will provide the amino acid profile, in-vitro digestibility, and an approximation of the protein quality in your sample. While this test cannot be used for label claims, this is a great way to check the protein during formulation, or as a precursor to the in-vivo PDCAAS test.

Amino Acid Testing

Amino acid testing measures the building blocks of proteins.

Amino Acid Profile Test - Acid Hydrolyzed Amino Acids

Measures Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Phenylalanine, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Tyrosine and Valine

Amino Acid Profile Test - Hydroxyproline (Collagen)

Measures the amino acid, hydroxyproline. Collagen is reported from a calculation using the hydroxyproline content.

Amino Acid Profile Test - Performic Acid Oxidation Amino Acids (Cystine and Methionine)

Measures the total content of the essential amino acids, Cystine and Methionine.

Amino Acid Profile Test - Physiologically Free Amino Acids (with Tryptophan)

Measures amino acids that are not bound into protein structures. This test measures the following: Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Cystine, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Tyrosine, and Valine

Amino Acid Profile Test - Physiologically Free Amino Acids (without Tryptophan)

Measures amino acids that are not bound into protein structures. This test measures the following: Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Cystine, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Tyrosine, and Valine

Protein (Dumas) Test

Analysis of the crude or total protein in your sample. This test can be used for general nutrition labeling for protein.
