Density is the measure of the weight per unit volume of solid or liquid samples. Bulk Density measures the apparent density of powders and particulates that include the air voids in the bulk sample. Displacement Density measures the density of the particles excluding void spaces.

Specify either bulk density or displacement density for powdered or granular samples.

Specific Gravity of liquids is determined by recording the weight in grams of a known volume of liquid in one cubic centimeter (cc) and is therefore reported in units of grams/cc.

Our standard turnaround time is 10 business days for most assays. There are some assays that require a longer turnaround time. We also offer a RUSH service that is half the time of the standard turnaround time of the assay at double the cost of the assay. A few assays that we provide cannot be rushed due to the nature of the test. Please check the specific assay you are interested in regarding the ability to RUSH the turnaround time.
This test is available for solid samples only. Liquid samples can be tested via our Specific Gravity testing.
