During this challenging time, Medallion Lab’s top priority is the health and well-being of our employees followed by our commitment to minimizing the disruption of services to you, our valued customer. While we are making every effort to mitigate negative impacts or disruptions for our customers, you may experience an increased turn-around-time on your results for Specialized Testing. Also, in the event we run into supply chain issues on any of our materials, a disruption in our ability to run specific assays may arise.
Although no business continuity plan can provide complete assurance of the removal of risk, we are committed to developing and implementing strong processes and controls to minimize the risk to our employee’s health. We have taken the following steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and to optimize operational continuity and service availability to you:
- All employees who can work from home are doing so at this time.
- On-site staff is being reduced and will be moved to staggered shifts.
- Temperature monitoring is required for all on-site staff upon building entry.
- Cancellation of all upcoming facility visits from clients.
- Segregation within the laboratory to maintain social distance.
This is a dynamic and ever-changing time. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and regularly modify our continuity plan as conditions dictate. We will contact clients individually about any problems, changes, or deviations to their projects.
