The World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 a global emergency. As we all reflect on how much our world and daily lives have changed, we at Medallion Labs are extremely grateful. Grateful for the health of our employees; grateful that we are an essential business able to serve you by maintaining operations; and grateful for customers like you who continue to entrust us with your business.
As we continue to navigate this unprecedented time in history our mission at Medallion Labs remains the same: protect the health and well-being of our employees, followed by honoring our commitment to servicing you, our valued customers. While we are making every effort to mitigate negative impacts or disruptions for our customers, the COVID-19 virus continues to impact our daily operations. This impact has increased and we anticipate this trend to continue into the beginning of 2021. Despite our robust continuity plan, you may experience increased turn-around-time on some of your results. Also, in the event that we run into supply chain issues on any of our materials, a disruption in our ability to run specific tests may arise.
Although no business continuity plan can provide complete assurance of the removal of risk, we are committed to developing and implementing strong processes and controls to minimize the risk to our employee’s health. We have taken the following steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and to optimize operational continuity and service availability to you:
- All employees who can work from home are doing so at this time.
- On-site staff was reduced and moved to staggered shifts.
- Temperature monitoring is required for all on-site staff upon building entry.
- Cancellation of all upcoming facility visits from clients.
- Segregation within the laboratory to maintain social distance.
Our Sales and Customer Service Teams will continue to closely monitor the situation and regularly modify our continuity plan as conditions dictate.
