Nutritional Labeling

The Nutrition Labeling and Education Act (NLEA) requires nutritional labeling for virtually every food product. Each package must contain a nutrition facts panel that includes mandated nutrients as well as optional nutrients.

Medallion Labs is a total resource for a reliable and accurate nutrition labeling program. Our nutritional component determinations are quick, precise and cost effective. In addition to standard nutrition label requirements, we can test for specialty fibers, antioxidants and many other components.

For your convenience, Medallion Labs has bundled all of the NLEA mandatory tests into a Nutritional Labeling package. Please send at least 200 grams of your product along with a completed Nutritional Request Form. A full list of optional nutrients is also available. All you have to do is check the boxes for what you need. Upon completion of testing, you will receive a final report with results from each individual analysis. If you are interested in a mock nutrition facts panel for a nominal fee of $20.00 please include the serving size of your product. The label we provide is not photo ready for marketing or print purposes but it gives you an instant snapshot of how the nutrients will `report on your label.
